SAR Youth Programs
The INSSAR is involved with our communities' youth through a number of programs. Annual Rumbaugh Orations, Knight Essay and Eagle Scout scholarships are sponsored at the chapter and state levels. Historical presentations and participation in patriotic events are often provided for schools and Scouting organizations.     Contact a local chapter for additional information.

(Indianapolis - 1 May 2008) - Stuart Hart, presented the Sons of the American Revolution JROTC Medal to Cadet Michael T. Lazorchak at North Central High School. Recipients are selected based upon a high degree of merit with respect to leadership qualities, military bearing and general excellence. (Fishers, IN - July 2007)  The Indiana Society's annual participation with the Indianapolis Symphony's 4th of July concerts provides an excellent venue to interact with the community's youth in a cultured and educationally stimulated environment.

SAR Color Guardsmen joined Boy Scout Troop 104 in an American flag retirement ceremony. Among other topics, was the comparison between the tricorn hat and the triangular folded U.S. Flag.
